Domain Join Directory

Now click on the computer name tab and click on the change button at the bottom.

Domain join directory. On the windows 10 pc go to settings system about then click join a domain. To join a computer to a domain on the start screen type control panel and then press enter. If you re not in the category view in control panel you can just click on system directly.

The computer will take a while to process the request. Then enter the domain name and click next. It will then request for the credentials with permission to join the device to the domain.

A domain join establishes a trust relationship between a computer running a windows operating system and an active directory domain. Now click on the domain radio button and type in the name of the domain name that you want to join this computer to. When set up work or school account screen loads beneath alternative actions click join this device to a local active directory domain.

This operation requires state changes to active directory domain services ad ds and state changes on the computer that is joining the domain. Enter the domain name and click next.
