Is Domain One To One
A function g is one to one if every element of the range of g corresponds to exactly one element of the domain of g.
Is domain one to one. If the function is one to one write the range of the original function as the domain of the inverse and write the domain of the original function as the range of the inverse. A function f is a method which relates elements values of one variable to the elements values of another variable in such a way that the elements of the first variable identically determine the elements of the second variable. One to one injective recall that under a function each value in the domain has a unique image in the range.
If the domain of the original function needs to be restricted to make it one to one then this restricted domain becomes the range of the inverse function. For a one to one function we add the requirement that each image in the range has a unique pre image in the domain. This means in a one one function given any y value there is only one x that can be paired with the given y.
