Domain Login Credentials
A domain user account enables the service to take full advantage of the service security features of windows and microsoft active directory domain services.
Domain login credentials. Entering our domain credentials here allows the logon to proceed. You can check in the security log what kind of logon type you used. Log on and connect the vpn so the user can be authenticated.
Select run as different user from the drop down list. Enter the domain credentials for that user. Once we click on this we see a square icon with a key in the center of the screen along with a user name and password field.
The service has whatever local and network access is granted to the account or to any groups of which the account is a member. Cached credentials also known as cached logon data are a piece of information that a user uses to logon to a corporate network when the domain controller is not available. For example if my account s password is set to expire on 12 24 2020 and i update the domain password max age policy from 90 to 365 days on 12 5 2020 my password will still expire on 12 24 2020 as currently scheduled correct.
