The affective or feeling domain.
Def affective domain. This domain includes the manner in which we deal with things emotionally such as feelings values appreciation enthusiasms motivations and attitudes. An affective domain describes various learning objectives among students that highlight a feeling an emotion attitude and a degree of acceptance or rejection. An affective domain talks about ways in which students respond to internal and external phenomena emotionally.
Like cognitive objectives affective objectives can also be divided into a hierarchy according to krathwohl. Again the taxonomy is arranged from simpler feelings to those that are more complex. This area is concerned with feelings or emotions and social emotional learning and skills.
Affective objectives vary from simple attention to selected phenomena to complex but internally consistent qualities of character and conscience. An affective domain is one of the three categories of bloom s taxonomy.
